About the Founder

Shiloh Rowe is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a Communications Specialist in the US Army during Operation Desert Storm. While mainly being stationed at Ft. Hood Texas, he also served 2.5 years in Turkey with NATO Nuclear Communications.

His service took him from Scud missile attacks and bomb scares to witnessing the aftermath of Iraqi atrocities against civilians in Saudi Arabia. Shiloh sustained injuries that retired him from active-duty service before a medical discharge ended his military career.

After transitioning to civilian life, Shiloh worked in the semiconductor industry and later as a Safety Coordinator at DuPont. He eventually moved into construction, where he rose to Safety Director for the Austin Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). Seeking the brotherhood he missed from the military, he led veteran motorcycle chapters and found a calling in veteran mental health advocacy.

Today, Shiloh is the Founder and President of Construction Veterans Reducing Suicide (CVRS) — a peer-to-peer program that empowers veterans in construction to support one another, recognize the warning signs of crisis, and connect fellow vets to life-saving resources. Modeled after the proven trust in programs from the VA and even in AA, CVRS stands as a boots-on-the-ground network for those still building America while fighting their own battles.
